Atama-Kimonos

Atama has been the front runner for most of their storied career in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu kimono world. After their start in 1989, Atama has been a tried and true company that has produced some amazing bjj gis.

Their Gold Weave & Mundial #7 were favorite jiu jitsu kimonos among the majority of athletes while they were in production and are still to this day highly sought after by many. The predecessor to the #7, the Atama Mundial #9, has shaped up to be a favorite with anyone who has tried one on. It features a tapered fit with an extremely rough outside, the Mundial #9 has proven to be a great daily trainer or competition gi.

We here at Kinji San also feature more than just the Mundial #9 from Atama. We can accommodate a variety of budgets and have the new Atama "Light" Gi model, three different models for women, and have a student single weave kimono as well. No matter what you're looking for, we have the right Atama kimono for you.

Atama has also sponsored the who's who in the Jiu Jitsu world. Bruno Malfacine, Kyra Gracie, Augusto Mendes, Mackenzie Dern, Ary Farias, and Leticia Ribero are some of the top athletes that are wearing the Atama Jiu Jitsu uniform today.
